Wow, an update - and you all thought I died

It's been a long time since I've come on here not many of my friends are posting here it's mostly groups so I din't usually come on here except to clear messages.

Anyway I thought I'd update a little since some people still come on. First off I started my small little buisness Darkly Cute Creations The page still needs a major overhaul but roughly I make cosplay hats...mainly pokemon but i'm sure I could do any type. When I figure out how to make it work i'll elaborate on it more.

The thing i'm most excited about Fall Out Boy is coming around and i'm going!-to be feet away from the stage!!! The only american group I can stand because of their emo/love tragedy style and I get to see them...all that's left before I die happy is go to japan and see V6 perform.

I'm still holding my crap job and dealing nicely so I think i'm doing ok.

Pokemon Diamond!!!

So I started playing my Pokemon Diamond import and got pretty far into the game and when I went to save my progress....I couldn't, so after starting over and over I finally looked it up and apparently to start a new game I had to delete the old save file by pressing a combination of buttons at the main screen...stupid ne?

My trainer name is きみこ (Kimiko) and my rival is パイロ(Piro) Yes, I love my Megatokyo as you see.

Anyway I chose Hikozaru the fire starter (...yes, yes...the monkey one). I originally wanted Pochama, the penguin but according to how they all fight Naetoru being grass is so-so through the game, Pochama is only effective when he evolves to Enperuto(final stage) because of the part steel type, so Hikozaru was the best choice being strong in all forms.

I LOVE the graphics..the fist pokemon for "game boy" that has 3D graphics the houses look so awesome.

I can't wait for the games to come out in the states for everyone to play...I might just get an american one too since I can't trade from all my other games to Diamond....damn that no regional trading rule.

New look,, what's up and rants

Eh, well it's been a while since i've said anything so i'll give the lowdown lately.

------------------------------------------------------

First off, my journal is getting a new look for the new year ahead since it's been a good boy. So this is journal vers. ...whatever - MEGATOKYO!::Piro kun::. Livejournal isn't the only thing with a MT look, my MySpace has a similar layout i've made.

------------------------------------------------------

It's the 22nd and i'm STILL not done making Christmas presents (I should finish tonight). It's so sad how I procrastinate especially with sewing projects. I still have bought presents I need to wrap also...in 1 3/4 days ^,^;. Oh I'm going to the "special" hell on the special bus for this one.

------------------------------------------------------

I'm ecstatic that in one week the one person I hate at work will be gone, but with all good things come the bad. In addition to Kevin leaving (and there was much rejoicing...yaaay) I've heard stories about our new store manager who apparently -mind you has only worked in my store 2 days so far- is not a nice/reasonable person. Hopefully it'll all be good if Kevin's replacement is..well....nice (everything he isn't).

------------------------------------------------------

Well that's about it for now, my next rant will be about my presents stay tuned same internet connection - same LJ channel.

Well due to loss of phone I was gone for a while but i'm back now and as usual nothing has really changed.

I'm still currently looking into an Elfwood.com account. I even went to the length of downloading gimp, a program that Ryan used to use when he would scan my pictures, fix and color them, then give me a displayed copy. So I know the quality of the program is good.

A couple of little things...

Well I finally got around to sending some video of my assistant manager getting dunked from my phone to my computer so I could free up some memory I only kept the best 3 clips.

I also just bought Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony today I'm really hoping it was worth the wait. I love that boy genius.
Hot Topic is getting back on my good side with their restocking of anime merchandise I was surprised to find 2 silver necklaces one of Kirara and the other from Fullmetal with the State Alchemist logo on it also the Kagome backpack i've been admiring was half off WAII~ what a beautiful thing!

I've seen the song list for DDR Supernova 0_0 -drool- now THAT'S something I'd camp out at in front of a store for. It's basically a combination of songs from all the previous DDR's (American AND Japanese) with very few new songs. Now that's my dream game.

Later i'm going to give my hand a try at peppermint fudge for the holidays and hopefully it'll turn out something like I imagine.

^ __ ^;
O \/ O ぴかちゅ～！ Pika Pi

even newer update

First it was the background that changed......now the rest of the layout has changed too. It took a good while to find a stylesheet I liked...because i'm finicky like that :p and then the Kanji input for everything whhhhy do I like the look of kanji on everything....when will I learn to stop >_<. Anyway I DID change the main title of my journal to "Maiagare!" and added the "Tagai no Hane.." to "Sora o Miru" in the subtitle section because I say if you can't make the font smaller...make the title smaller.

My taste has changed a little in the past years

Well first off i'd like to say how happy I am that i've fixed my tochpad so there will be no more automatic clicking when I hover over hyperlinks. Joy.

Now for the reason for this post. I was so bored tonight that I decided to go through my music collection that I brought with me when I moved. CD's spanning all the way back to my first one that I got back in either 9th or 10th grade and is also well intact and plays decent...wow the memories. Artist's pretty much include B*witched, Hanson, Natalie Imbruglia, Matchbox 20, Simon and Milo, U2, The Moffats, Celine Dion, MXPX and Wierd Al. Alot of teeny bop stuff a little punk but still i've noticed that all I really listen to now is J-pop/rock with the exception of Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, Panic! at the Disco, The Starting Line, Boys Night Out...and similar bands like them. I still enjoy my old CD's very much they mostly hold memories like walking to the bus stop listening to The Moffats or buying my first CD and player with my dad. I just thought i'd like to reflect on the change because I think it's nice to look at how my taste in things like music has grown and moved on slightly.

Same ol' - same ol'

Nothing new's been happening. I'm still enjoying customizing my laptop - still adding programs and such - I've actually decided against using all my messengers at once when I found out the lag it causes so I just installed Trillian again it honestly is easier plus it lets me use my Ed icon for all my messengers. Currently Pokemon Trozei is downloading, now I know the unstability of a Nintendo DS emulator but i'm still going to give it a try. The GBA emulator works just fine with my copy of Emerald...the only downside being no trading or battles..though it would be quite awesome to battle Gameboy to PC. I need to go out and get myself a better batch of colored pencils....and I need to get some fabric from work. Well Pokemon just finished so i'm going to go give it a try...if it fails my next post will be an angry one.

Gotta Catch 'em All....Bishounen!

Ok, well some of you might remember the Pocket Bishoujo and Pocket Bishounen (currently dead) craze a few years ago where you answered 3 questions to catch your character. I figured I would go on a huntin' spree with my pokeballs and show off my collection of recently caught bishoujo and even though the bishounen site is no more I found some of my favorite boys to post. Enjoy or ignore be my guest.

Bishoujo:

and Bishounen

I got myself a shirt, bandanna, paper fan and a CD .(I was one of the first 30 people so my CD was signed WOOT!) They did some classics that I was dancing and screaming along with the lyrics (especially the japanese songs and the whole "T E E N T I T A N S Teen Titans let's go" bit)

The people threw a fit about no pictures or you get thrown out...but you know what...since when do I play by the rules so without further ado..Puffy Splurge 06' pictures :

Aren't they just awesome
Here's one of me after the concert:

So all-in-all it was an awesome day except the wait outside of the building where I was soaked from the downpour.

Urges

I've had the urge to talk to a couple of people lately, it seems Ali is away so I sent her a message on myspace, I've been so uppity on how she's doing I guess I miss how we used to talk constantly. I'm trying with my best effort to catch up with Nicole I might ask to add her on here if it's ok by her. I even try to talk to Elesia often. I guess I feel abandoned by certain friends especially since Aly and Coly i've known since junior high I guess I hold them in high regards.

I'm finally starting to take care of my neopets better. I've forgotten what it's like to play games on there.

current FY dvds 3/8 woot on my way

Well tomorrows packed with fun things to do, clean, search for ddrex2 (which has been lost for months now) - play ddr when found, make chocolate for tuesday and copy Howl's Moving Castle. The cleaning will take most of the day though.

I think my vcr needs to be hooked up another way since I wasn't able to copy anything since the Father Ted series and I really want my own copy of Howl's it's an amazing movie.

Today was kinda funny at work I was wearing my hair like Hotohori and Tamahome.

Well proving once again there's always one good gene a parent gives you...for me it's PC fixin knowledge(and that whole drafting thing). Either I am going to kill this computer with my bare hands ...or it'll kill itself with all the spyware which makes me realize I would hate to be a tech especially with the "stop it in 5 seconds or it corrupts your files...again"...atleast I can think fast when I need to.

Strange but funny I've been watching that new Disney Channel series Hannah Montana and I have the theme stuck in my head...oh well another job for Morpheus.

The nice news is aim mail is up and running which would make it easier now to talk to Yuko san I feel so bad by swiching to yahoo suddenly on her. She told me about her fun durring Golden Week that seems like an experience in itself, one i'd like to know. ;_; Jamie tell me about it!!!!!

oh yesterday was fun...

Many things happened yesterday so don't flip if this post is a little long I went up to Maine after I got my paycheck...so I had time to think a lot in the car so here are some conclusions to some things I thought about:

Considering I had my V6 cd's with me it got be back to thinking of Jamie,...well...back a few years ago I had listened to anime music but never a particular band, so Jamie gave me a list one group she urged was V6...and the suggested song was "Wa ni natte odorou" it's still my original favorite and I can't listen to it without thinking of being back in high school first hearing it...so thank you Jam, you were my insight to the j-pop world and I could never thank you enough for that just know I love you and Meg much you guys are great friends.

After hearing about Alison's grandmother(my condolences to you and your family sweetie ^_^) it had gotten me thinking about my uncle and I realized I was on the verge of almost forgetting his face and voice, which upset me and then I though of when my aunt would pass...then my father.. considering I don't have much family left the thought of forgetting them scares me.

Also I thought about when I go back to DE to visit all I want to do is see Kathy first and then I want to stop by the bookstore and surprise Greg, Laura and Moe...maybe even arrive on club night and see some long nearly forgotten faces.

Now as for the trip itself let's see...Funny Meg that you mention seeing a greyhound...I saw one too, walking on the beach. I was almost passed out listening to Aly & Aj with my cd player when I finally realized that I heard Fall Out Boy...funny thing was it was the new song so it took me a few minutes to realize that my Fall Out Boy cd was in the case next to me so I was a little excited to hear the new song on the radio..it kicked butt I<3 Patrick he's so cool.

On a strange note i've found a Japanese weblog I signed up to use Just for fun and maybe help with reading Kanji.

Artist Ideas

First off my proud piece of work:
A painting of my *other* beloved Edward

the picture does it no justice considering the canvas is a 20x18 (I want to say).

I'm thinking of drawing out my own renditions of the main characters from Twilight(main characters meaning Bella, Edward, Emmett, Jasper, Alice and Rosalie since they're the only ones that were given quite vivid descriptions)anime style, although my Edward might come out looking like the one from the Japanese Illustrations (my current lj icon) since that's how I pictured him anyway.

I've got some new books i'm interested in looking at, Half Moon Investigations is coming from the brilliant mind that brought us that genius mastermind Artemis Fowl. Even without the LEP this book looks good, thank you Eoin Colfer...again.
The other called The Alchemist's Daughter looks like it might hold my attention much like Twilight did(although that might have mostly been Edward's dazzling persona).

I've found the book of my dreams yay

Well I found a book in the library the other day just the name caught my eye....then I read the back....The name Edward caught my eye (for those that don't know of my FMA obsession) but even cooler....vampires. I just had to take it out something drew me to it I had read one page but was too tired to keep going. When I woke this morning I picked up where I left off and finished it around 5pm never putting it down(which is rare for me to do even with my favorite Artemis Fowl books). Even now I find myself peeking back at my favorite parts and I even decided to read the whole thing all over again. I'm sort of in love with this book I even found out there's to be a sequel this october which I can't wait for (along with many more to come). Anyway I urge you all to read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer it's with no doubt my favorite book and I think it will be for a long time.

On another not...I've finally beaten Kingdom Hearts 2....in less than a month...haha I love those games and it looks like a sequel to that also!
^_^

People amaze me

It's amazing how teamwork still exists among my few friendly co-workers. So it's modular time at DRAMA*mart ^_^ so I get to flip the entire department around just to confuse the customers by "No, it's over there now."...fun. Anyway the person in the next department is assigned to cut fabric instead of the person in my area. which is a plus. My lazy co-worker did nothing she was asked to do...which me being the slight OCD associate HAD to do them or it would have bothered me all night. Anyway I finished 4 modulars in one night, finishing exactly at closing and within the half hour left I put the clearance out, zoned all the fabric, put all the fabric Susan never put away back, cleared the table and dumped the fixtures in the back. I think I do a damn good job for someone who don't get help from the other craft associate who should really stay in the department I think.

I can hardly stand now that my constant movement from work is broken, my ankle is so swollen...well let's say I can't even locate where my ankle WOULD be if it was visible.

I'm going to give an attempt at sushi tonight if I can stand.

I'm so hooked on Kingdom Hearts 2 it's fun. And why is it when you are in a huge boss fight and you're giving about 150% in the fight, when you finally when your heart feels like it's trying to explode? Well I already have the problem of after a long play of the game I try to go to sleep and all I can see when I close my eyes is the command panel and the repeated flashing of the reaction command button (green triangle)...I think that might be a bad thing.

On another note Yuko san sempai is trying to help me comprehend and grip on wa and ga properly....I think i'll never learn it right.

ok Today started off with a computer mission:
1. get Michele's resume's off her old pc
Misson: Successful
2. Get my Modem out of her pc
Misson: Successful
3. Put ME back into my pc
Mission: Do you REALLY want me to answer that....

Ok well i'm fine with it all except my pc it would work if I wasn't gyped out of the CD rom. So it's back to the old drawing board for my poor broke baby.
